Plutonium

In most occasions when I get in and play I rank up and unlock new weapons as usual. But once I log off the progress made in that session is gone. It's frustrating, since I want to get to level 55 'legitimately' but this error is making me rethink my possibilities.

I tried to use the command to store a pack a punched raygun and it didn't work. Is this something devs are planning to fix? Or is it intended to be impossible to store wonder weapons. It also happens with 1911 and with the akimbo mustang and Sally.
