ok, I figured out how to "add" my friend to my friend list, but when he attempts to join my IW5 game via Private Match, he's just stuck at the "Conntecting..." window. Is there a way to play without hosting or joining a server? I would like to play Survival together.

There is no heart or Plus on either of our accounts, even though we did follow each other. Can anyone help?
