So i was waiting for my buddy in the lobby menu for black ops 1 zombies. While I was waiting I thought the game crashed or my whole computer but it was an automatic restart for a windows update. When my computer restarted I reopened plutonium and tried to login. Once i put in my login info I was greeted with a 7 day ban for cheating. Like I said before I'm not sure why. I wasn't running obs or anything like that. I uninstalled obs now because others said that may have been an issue. My buddy I was waiting for has similar stuff running in the background like razer central, Nvidia settings, steam, discord, steel series. I doubt Microsoft teams would do anything. But that's my whole story. No matter I know I'll be assumed I was cheating. I'm even at the point of showing my files on my computer to prove my innocence.

gore_ All i gotta say is good luck. even if u make new accounts you'll eventually get banned. I'm going to only run discord and plutonium when playing. They wont even reverse the ban. If this becomes more of a common issue maybe they'll notice a problem. Im even to the point of having someone look at my files at this point because I have no idea why I'd be banned besides the fact my computer restarted for a windows update while i was waiting for my buddy in a zombies lobby.

ChosenUndead I was not recording so I don't know what the issue could've been to get banned. The most
I did was type into the console FOV and FPS limits. I'm just going to close everything but discord and hope it works when playing when the ban is lifted. I honestly think the restart of my computer may have triggered something in the anti-cheat somehow. I don't know what happened. I played for like 2 hours.

ChosenUndead I uninstalled obs and wont have steel series running or invidia. hopefully that works when I play next time!

I don't want to even play it again since i got banned for no reason. Seems like a solution to this problem is having an appeal option to find out why the anti cheat falsely ban people

I don't want to be perma banned though if I don't know what the issue is. Even when the ban is lifted Ill get banned again if I don't know what caused it.

All I did was download and launch it. played like 3 games in total of zombies and then my computer restarted while i was in a lobby and when logging back in I was banned.

Best way to appeal a ban? Im on the discord and made this post but im sot sure where else to go. All my buddies got on to play zombies and now im banned lol

So I was waiting for my buddy to join my game and then I had a windows update and it restarted my computer while the game was open. Now it says I have a 6 day ban. I'm not sure what happened? I was just trying to play zombies with my buddy and I just go the launcher today. I saw on other posts it was a ban for cheating but did the windows update and the computer restarting cause the ban?
