Rank won't save. I'll play a game and exit plutonium and my progress won't save. Anyone else having this issue?

Blacks ops 2 RankI've had a problem where my rank won't save after i exit plutonium. I tried pinning down exactly what is going on and i think it's because I didn't have the dlc just the steam copy of BO2. Anyone else having this problem?
