The same thing happened to me. I had to download the game from another medium and having it already installed I just put plutonium in that folder, I started it and it worked
When I open plutonium and I give it play (it is correctly placed in the folder where it should go) 2 windows open and in one of them the cmd and in another the game, which is shown on a black screen.
