Introduction:
To play Plutonium IW5 you will need a copy of the latest IW5 base-game. This is simple to do if you have a Steam account and is also FREE.
Downloading the files:
As part of the vanilla MW3, Steam provides a free MW3 Dedicated server download, this contains all the files needed to run the Plutonium IW5 Mod.
BEFORE STARTING THE DOWNLOAD ENSURE YOUR STEAM CLIENT IS SET TO ENGLISH OTHERWISE IT WILL FAIL TO CORRECTLY INSTALL THE GAME. Installing the dedicated server in other languages will result in missing files... thus causing errors when you try to use Plutonium.
Method 1:
This is the easiest method so try this first, if it doesn't work use method 2.
Copy the following link and paste it into your internet browsers address bar at the top of your browser to open Steam directly to the Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 - Dedicated Server page.
steam://install/42750
Click Open on the prompt that appears, ensure it has Steam Client Bootstrapper selected.
This should take you to the page shown below, click the install button.
Go to the What Next? section of this thread.
Method 2:
Open Steam and then click View which is in the top left and then Library.
Click GAMES AND SOFTWARE above the list of games and tick the Tools checkbox.
Scroll down the list and find Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 - Dedicated Server and click on this and then click Install.
What next?:
Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 will download and install. Once done you can continue with the Plutonium install guide:

Please note when it comes to selecting your game folder it will likely be on your C drive and this is likely at
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3
For those who forget to download the game in English:
Go here
Then click on properties, select the language tab and chose English.
This will launch an update.
