Is the replay you're trying to view about over an hour long?
If so then it's probably because it's too long.
However there will be an update to let you watch longer replays in theater mode, I myself just don't know when that will be out.

Hey all!
I was trying to get footage for a personal project on one of my Mob of the Dead games via theater mode, but it seems to crash everytime I try to launch it (the game is roughly an hour and a half long for reference btw)
I was given some crash info so I decided to come over here and share it:

I saw a post from someone else having the same issue about a month ago, in which one of the staff stated that it was because the game was too long, however the next update would let you watch longer games in theater mode.
I decided to still post this though, in case there's been any new info on that update or if maybe there's some sort of secondary solution to the issue.

That's all I wanted to ask, thanks for any responses!
