I've also been getting these driver timeouts, intermittent stuttering and hangups, and I can't leave a game paused for too long or it crashes. I can't go on any high round runs because the game isn't stable enough to make it there.
I'm on latest drivers and versions using a known good 9070XT, and this only happens on BO1
