when running t5 through proton, the vast majority of sound effects (i.e gunshots, footsteps, explosions) cannot be heard. the only sound effects i can hear at least is ambience and character voices. im running the game on proton hotfix, if that helps at all.

Do only xbox controllers work with plutonium or other brands like Halion too?if im correct, you can use ds4windows to use third party controllers in plutonium.
