I was playing solo on town, gave myself a bunch of points to go for a high round. restarted my game and I was banned. I get I was cheating but on solo? really?

I tried making a new account which at the time I didn't know wasn't allowed and now I'm IP banned on the forums. and my ban was extended. Now it's a 27 day ban.
(i made like 3-4 accounts)
I was unaware that you could launch the game in LAN mode which is why I didn't do that.
