Plutonium

My vpn is on all the time because of turkey stupid internet laws. I deactivated it after I restarted the game tho because I thought this might me the reason.

I tried joining servers on Multiplayer and zombies but it just retried connecting 10 times before timing out. I asked a friend and he said it could have been because of my VPN (I live in turkey where many things on the internet are restricted). He said I should turn it off and change my ip. After that I tried connecting again but now I got a 100 year ban. Is that ban because of the use of my vpn? And I wanted to ask if it is beccause of my VPN if the ban could be set to like a week or so because I didnt know (I´m sorry in advance).

Edit: Nvm I just tried to login again and it is an 14 days ban. But why did that happen?
