Wdym? Couldn't understand what you meant. What's wrong with the bootstrapper? Is it stuck and isn't launching the game or?
If you got a mouse with a key that you don't use you could reconfigure that too if it supports it.
There are function layers for most keyboards. For example: on my keyboard it is Fn+Esc to open the console
