I have been playing Call of Duty for a long time, and I am absolutely tired of the combination of the swarming infestations of cheaters, which has gotten especially worse on console with no cross platform, and the barf level quality of content they are constantly pumping into the game.

I've declared I'm not buying any of the new "call of duties." Because I have a PS4, and I'm not buying a PS5/whatnot to be harassed by cheaters. I got till around November to find something else. I remember how when "call of duty" used to be called MOHAA, and for a while it, and other FPS games needed to run on privately owned servers. Some of the servers were for shitty laggers, some for cheaters, and some were for legit players no cheaters. That was atmosphere of the good old days. That's what I'm looking for again. This organization isn't advertising it that way, but I'm wondering that's what this place is going for, and if anyone can give me the low down on this place, and how it operates?

I hate discord by the way. I haven't even looked at it yet

I was hoping it was more simple and limited. I don't need a new watered down call of duty every year. I wish there was more transparency on this place. I'd like to see what the community is like, and what everyone's attitudes are towards things.

I'm not seeing the multiplayer game play. I'm not seeing if the lobbies to play on. I'm not seeing what people are talking about, and what level of censorship there is. I can't tell is this place is fun or if it's some reddit place I'm about to get banned from.

Now that "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4" is out I'm sort of done with call of duty. I'm not buying a PS5 to play a game that's totally infested with console cheaters. After 11 years of playing every new call of duty that came out. I miss the goofy joystick controller competitive action but I'm willing to give "plutonium" a try with BO2.

I hate downing and figuring new things out. I guess I'll probably find out how to do everything as soon as I look for some kind of "how to." Please excuse me if all this gets answered to quickly by something like a search.

My question is what is the quickest cheapest easiest way to get started? How do you suggest I get a hold of BO2? What all do I need to download, and new configure? Feel free to walk me like a dog through this. If there's any BO2 communities feel free to show me that as well and anything else. I don't even remember what the BO2 looks like. I knows it the most preferred and played.

Another thing to consider is I might be working overseas and spending time in hotels. I'll have to get a gaming laptop. I'm hoping BO2 is super low and easy to run on one.

Thanks

I got plutonium installed. Now next is the mess that installing BO2 is going to be. Thanks.
