@KillerAndMX It does make sense, the team doesn't randomly remove things for fun. It was removed because some cheats could use that from what I have been told. There might be a way to enable it with gsc but idk about that

@scowler Change your video settings without crashing the game (borderless windowed) Make sure your game is closed before doing that. Go to where your Modern Warfare 3 is installed and go in the players2 folder. Then open plutonium.cfg with the notepad to edit it. Find r_displayMode and change it to be like this (you can use ctrl+f to search for it): seta r_displayMode "windowed (no border)"

You can do that yourself, Plutonium is the only client that supports GSC modding, you can literally change anything that IW did write in GSC. Including creating your own game modes.

same goes for me too except i get like 25fps ingame and menu and everything is slow but after restarting it runs perfectly fine again

@ActualCrackhead if a server requires a level to play it's either misconfigured or a bad server in my opinion. But if you really wanna play on it either unlock all or set your level to 80 depending on what you wanna do. setPlayerData experience 999999999 for level 80 or if you want level, prestige and unlocks https://plutonium.pw/docs/unlockall-max-rank/ iirc in the barracks menu we have a "customize your stats" menu where you can do that as well

why do you need it to run on 8 threads? the game itself utilizes a single thread so a cpu with decent single thread performance is needed (for dedis and for clients) although any half decent cpu from the past 10 years should be able to run the game well. If you have any performance issues they are most likely not caused by the game using a single thread (which the steam version does too btw).

@Resxt I think i remember how i made it crash in the first place. Last time i was playing, i was on a private match alone messing with the commands, when by curiosity i ran a command that was supposed to start singleplayer campaign, the game crashed and i left it there for the day. The next day i tried to play i had the issue already. The game used to work with no issues before that (For some reason my reply got posted on a different thread)
