This topic can be ignored. Loading the CODMVM mod ended up getting me banned because I forgot to load into LAN only mode. I tried being forthcoming and asking staff in their discord for a possible unban, which I get is a stretch, and I was shut down (understandably). Just posting this last reply for anyone having the same issue, and hopefully this will be a warning for them to NOT do what I did lmao. update: i may have found a workaround for anyone who wants to grind the game without losing their pro perks! step 1: insert the unlockall command step 2: purchase all perks, upgrade all perks to pro step 3: enter this command (ctrl+c, ctrl+v) into the console, replacing the "%" symbol with what would be your current prestige: /statsetbyname rank 4;statsetbyname rankxp 2700;statsetbyname plevel %;statsetbyname codpoints 0;updategamerprofile;uploadstat step 4: play an online game, get a few kills/deaths, then leave. step 5: if your cod points dont reset after the first game, simply reenter this command: /statsetbyname codpoints 0;updategamerprofile;uploadstat step 6: repeat this process for all 15 prestige levels! This works because losing create-a-class is what resets your pro perks; this method of "prestige" will only reset you to level 4, allowing you to keep those purchased pro perks, while still letting you continue to grind levels. Hope this helps anyone who cant get pro perks in black ops 1 plutonium

I think so. This error is somewhat common but I have not found a link between users and I suspect it's because the files may not be good.

How did you come to the conclusion it crashes because you use cg_fovScale 1.5?
