Banned while in LAN mode?

I was messing around in LAN mode with cheat engine but still got banned? Do injections still ban me no matter what?

You weren't in Lan mode if you got banned

LightningBO Any time the launcher is opened, it automatically goes back to online mode. You have to manually switch it to LAN
