Can i make Plutonium hours count towards the official Steam game?

I've asked this in DC already and was told i couldn't, but when i look in some Steam forums and the internet in general like 50% of people say you can and 50% say you cant.

Sorry for double posting, but i actually got it to work. So it IS possible to make Plutonium count hours on the OG game.
