cant play with boyfriend on servers black ops 1 ? why cant two people on the same wifi be in the same server

so me and my partner cant play on the same online server on blackops 1 zombies? we share wifi can i have a solution if there is one.

The way BO1 and BO2 work since the lobby update doesn't allow same IPs to play because of a port conflict I believe.
Until this is fixed, if it's fixed, I think the only solution is having a different IP so either by using your mobile phone in wi-fi sharing/access point or a VPN.
Note that a good amount of servers will block VPN IPs -
cb24 Just use anything that will give you another IP to play on. VPN, Proxy, Mobile data, etc. It's up to you. All are easy to setup and some are free. Google is your friend here.
