Problem with Ping

I wanted to play with my brother t6 Co-op,but when i joined him my Ping was horrible.
When he joined me his ping was horrible.our Pcs are connected both with ethernet cable on same router.

its actually t4 (sorry) (call of duty world at war)

Are you connecting through the local IP or through the external one?

i think we used external ip and i had to change port to mine (his was different from mine his was 28961 mine was 28960) because it didn't want to join him with his port.
