final update, fixed itself after 4-5 days Culprit was my wifi router update that blocked something with the online connection.

ive had the same issue i just now noticed im banned for 200 days and ive played on my handheld before, i played custom WAW zombies by myself.

@JaxSheppy Your antivirus is so bad that even adding an exclusion to it doesn't work, this alone is enough to uninstall it already Windows Defender that comes free with Windows is really good. There is no need for the average user to ever pay for an antivirus

@BeanofDoom the setup button does not download the game for you, the setup button is where you tell plutonium where your copy of the game is. if you can't see the setup button (and it says Play), then you can click the "game settings" text next to the play button to get back to the setup menu... but like i said above, that is only going to bring up a menu for you to tell plutonium where your copy of the game is already installed... plutonium doesn't download anything for you. you have to have the game already for this to work.
