Micro Stuttering Fix?

I'm thinking it's an amd cpu issue - my friends with intel cpus have no issues, myself and others on amd have lots of stuttering. might be worth making a poll
-
I'm also having a lot of stutters, especially when getting hit/flinching. Also have a Ryzen 3700x. Must be an issue with amd CPUs.

I'm having the same issues with an i7 8700K @5GHz and a 1080Ti, same for my friends with other Intel CPUs (9900K, etc). Running everything on very low settings and disabled everything I could, freshly installed windows 10 and optimized. It's a game issue I'm 100% sure, maybe even related to the server, because it does lag more on some servers than others from what I've noticed, especially with more than 12 players.
I tried setting the process to real-time priority and at first it was stuttering less often, however on other servers the stuttering was still annoying. Maybe it was placebo.I'm still waiting for the pluto devs to say something about it, if they're working on a fix or what is causing it exactly. It's impossible to play this game with this kind of stuttering, so annoying.

BIadeecity It's mostly plutonium/server related, if you go and play the game in multiplayer(w/o plutonium) in the servers that were already there, you will notice the game has barely any stuttering. Regardless the game doesn't even support 144hz right, doesn't feel smooth at all and is just kind of a joke. Gonna pass on this whole experience. Black ops 2 is much much better

lukas-A It's what I'm guessing as well. And it does support high refresh rate, but my FPS is a bit unstable, and it's a game problem too. If you remember MW3 pluto before the updates, it feels similar.
I lock it at 250 and it hovers around 170~250 all the time (which ironically enough it's the framerate I get on MW19 MP). I might give it a try at 125 locked later, even though I have a 280Hz monitor, just to see how it'll behave. Maybe it could be delaying packets or whatever when it runs at >90fps and causing these issues? I need to test it, I haven't tried playing it with the default FPS limit -
BIadeecity I know that it “supports” high refresh by letting you select it in the menu, but it doesn’t feel smooth like other cods at 144hz. It’s like it lets you select it but even with 300fps+ or vsync’d at 144hz it doesn’t feel smooth at all. I tried capping the fps all the way to 60 and it still just doesn’t feel right. Not sure maybe it can be fixed in the future. Forgot to mention I’m on a 3080 and a 10900k, will maybe try it on my ryzen 5600x system to see if it runs differently.

BIadeecity You are correct, 100% a server issue. I tried combat training with bots and its butter smooth... Hopefully they can fix it soon!

Then it could be system related or idk. When I get 250fps stable and I'm not getting any stutters (which is almost impossible rn) it feels absolutely smooth and fine, and it's pretty noticeable to me because when I jump back to WZ Rebirth I can definitely notice the increased input lag and the lower FPS (130~160fps) there.
But these stutterings are killing me inside, it happens so so often and everyone is always stuttery ingame as well

i have an rx550 an a amd atlon x4 950 quad. but on every other plutonium game such as bo2, waw, mw3 there is no microstutters but when i try to play bo1 the stutters are very bad and make me drop in to the 10s of fps and i usually get around 115-120 on every other one. please help me.

loganYT This has been explained many many times in different posts. Bad PC Port, to sum it up, since the game was released back in 2010. Best thing you can do is turn on Shader Warming. That will help with stuttering. Blame Activision for this bad port.
