Plutonium will die after steam check?
-
i still want to play, but i dont have any money to buy this on steam, nether my friends
-
sMorpheus I dont think thats how it works bro, you'll be okay.
-
i wouldn't say it will die, it will lose some players maybe even a lot of players but it certainly won't die, since still a lot of player actually own the games
-
Yeah, it won't die. It's just that a lot of people will be unfortunate knowing that BO2 technically is not free anymore. So, basically, you'll just see BO2 being paid for now. I believe when you buy the game first upon the time where Steam Checks would be applied, it'll be a ghost town. Come around a week/month later, it will be repopulated.

This sounds annoying even though I own the games on steam. I play on Linux and the complexity of launching a Windows game on Linux raises exponentially the moment you add a launcher into the mix, so idk how well this will work on Linux under wine. it will probably plain just not work on proton because running custom .exes using is an absolute nightmare.

It's for sure more annoying than it sounds too.

sMorpheus Most of the COD games are $20 for a limited time as of me putting this response.
