Zombies Voice Lines Missing, Text Broken

I have seen multiple threads regarding this, most of which have been inconclusive.
In Origins, there are no voice lines in the intro. Character dialogue is completely missing, as well as zombie voices.
Furthermore, a lot of the text is broken for many of the items, generators, buyables, etc... appearing similar to this:
(Photo taken from another thread)I am running a Steam version of BO2, and downloaded the Plutonium DLCs. What is the fix for this? I have tried checking the integrity of the game files of both the BO2 and separate zombies app multiple times, as well as completely reinstalling both games.
Aphex Twin when you originally installed bo2 via steam you selected english as the language right? Either way this will fix it: https://plutonium.pw/docs/repair/

I'm having this exact same issue, and it's not just with Origins, it's with all the DLC maps. My copy of bo2 is from steam but I torrented all the DLCs. TranZit text and voicelines work fine but none of the DLCs do. Is this an issue with the DLC torrent file?

that's what i'm trying to find out, which language did you install the game in via steam?

Having the same issue sadly. After some amount of time it didn't really bother me much anymore but I still kinda want to listen to voicelines and such. Keep me updated

I'm experiencing the same problem across all DLC maps in BO2, not just Origins.
