"invalid password" on launcher

Hey all, getting this error on launcher sign-in when my username and password are verifiably correct/the same as my forum account. Password was generated by the password manager "pass(1)", is there some possibility that the launcher can't handle certain characters in the password field?
Edit: Nevermind, I think my xdotool macro typed a bit too quickly and entered it wrong in the first place.
