Cannot select server/game type with controller!

When selecting multiplayer and the menu pops up to select what game you want to join, controller does not work. I have no keyboard and mouse on my pc as I use it as a console. I use Anydesk on my phone to select anything non controller supported but that doesn't work either and end up stuck on the menu. can this be fixed ?

Black ops 1 is the only game that half works with controller when on server browser. it still cant select a game or scroll down the list.
