How to turn off blood!

I am trying to figure out how to turn off blood in bo2, can anyone help?

I don't believe it's possible.

All I know is that to disable blood you would need to disable "Graphic Content" which is an option only accessible from the Black Ops 2 campaign screen.

If there is a way (even if it isn't easy to do by an average user), I'd like to know.

You could try to change cg_allow_mature and / or tu13_allow_no_player_melee_blood.

Yes, its very easy. Open steam, start SP.

I tried using a lua file to force it on with the in-game settings.

What I do know (just for info) is that tu13_allow_no_player_melee_blood will force on.

I made the command as if it were an option you can change in the game settings. When I disabled it, it said "tu13_allow_no_player_melee_blood" set to "0", but when I left settings (saving options) it changes to "1".

So this may mean nothing and it's just something that's always meant to be on. But I'm just asserting my current progress.

(I have also tried in-game and in main menu).

GOLD3N 4RM Dvar probably has a check which always sets it to 1.

Also Graphic Content may work on game-modes other than SP.

I for sure know that graphic content (whether reduced or unrestricted) can carry over to other game-modes. But you're probably right about the dvar verification.
