READ TO THE END BEFORE REPLYING

Around 2020 or so, a post about future support for the game was made. At the time I mainly agreed about what was said, and thought it was mostly fine.

However, as people know it, there has been plenty of issues regarding Black Ops 3, and with Plutonium's recent addition to the client needing ownership of a game, Piracy might not be an issue anymore.

What I have an issue with isn't Zombies, as T7 patch provided a way for us to safely play the game, albeit, without any of the big bug fixes and fps improvements of the big client that used to be for the game. The real issue is by far Multiplayer.

It's one of my favorite multiplayers for cod, but the multiplayer in at least PC is shrouded by hackers, vulnerabilities any many other issues that you can't fix with just a patch that blocks connection to others, but a client that allows connection but rids of those vulnerabilities, cheats, and bugs completely or at least mostly could bring hundreds back.

This probably won't ever happen, at least with this client, but I'm just wondering what Plutonium Staff's stance on BO3 is now, and has it changed since people have last asked about this in 2020? Would you think a future client would be a good idea, even if it's not made by Plutonium? I'm not asking for much really, I think it'd just be a nice discussion.

Lastly, but not least, I sincerely hope staff and whoever may be reading this may have a great and wonderful day! 😸

Muufle it did not change. Just look at what happened to the last BO3 client

Resxt That was a result with Piracy, no? I could be getting this wrong but the last client was taken down by the author as it was a byproduct of another client that received a cease & desist. However, I do understand why Plutonium would not do it, no point in risking it at this stage. Maybe you're talking about T7 though? I'm unaware as to what happened there and why it discontinued even after support from shiversoft, google is giving me no good answers, did they get a Cease & Desist just like X Labs? I find it weird with that as Alter's clients are still active, so I'm confused on that end.

Muufle every decent programmer closed their client by fear of Activision/because of direct/indirect C&D repercusions. The only T7 "clients" left are copy pasted crap run by clueless people. They're not clients, they're archived clients brought back to life by people owning a VPS pretty much.

BO3 is and was always an issue, you can easily see it and understand why + the game has pretty much everything when it comes to modding already so the interest is very limited for Plutonium developers.

What you're asking for is essentially
"Please put 6+ years worth of work (Plutonium) at risk to fix BO3 security issues (that already have solutions) to add nothing else to the game other than security, and although every other clients got taken down"

I understand your concern but you need to understand that Plutonium is not gonna risk losing everything "just" to fix a game that already has several things fixing it to an extent and when we saw other clients get killed right in front of our eyes
