I am using Fedora 39. I followed the official installation post and the instructions, but the game still does not work. I decided to run plutonium.exe file as root with Wine to get logs of the error, and the error displayed is:

0154:err:module:import_dll Library iconv.dll (which is needed by L"Z:\\usr\\share\\wine\\mono\\wine-mono-8.1.0\\bin\\libmono-2.0-x86_64.dll") not found
0154:err:mscoree:load_mono Could not load Mono into this process

How can I fix it? I will leave my Discord to be able to reply and facilitate the process

Have you tried using the lutris script for bo2 that does have a dedicated plutonium install?
Because I'm currently running Fedora 39 Kde and it's working just fine

After changing distro and configuring it more carefully following the tutorial, it works now 😄
