no DLC maps

pls help my friend buy the game and he can play plutonium but with out the DLC maps and he cant play controller can someone help us ?

To play the DLC maps, you or your friend need to purchase and install them. If you acquired the DLCs by other means, ensure that they are installed correctly.

is this like the same issue with like fast build or no? Like i try to open a dlc map and it says something about bsp and making a fast build file
