My friend is unable to login or reset his password

    Hi!
    My friend - Tetleyg - is unable to reset his account login.

    The desktop client signed him out and he couldn't log back in.
    He then tried to login via the forum/site and could not either. So went to reset his password (entered the email and requested a reset) but it's been a day now and he still hasn't had any reset emails (did check all email folders including junk/spam.)

    Is there anyone who could check this out somehow and see if they can figure out why he never recieves the email? Maybe the account has been locked due to him trying to login and getting blocked many times or something.

      Your friend never actually confirmed his email address and therefore his account does not have an email address assigned to it. He cannot reset the password. Unless he remembers it, the only option is to create a new account.

      I suggest using a password manager in the future.

        Emosewaj Ah okay, I don't think he actually got an email to do that as he does not delete things and couldn't find it. But at least it explains why he isn't getting any reset links.

        How can I check if mine is confirmed too, Should it show in my profile settings?

          Check your account info, you should see an email history with your email in it, if you do have an email address assigned.
