I keep all my plutonium files on an SSD so I can play with people without them needing to download everything. All the games, along with the plutonium application itself, are on that drive. Typically, I play straight of the drive instead of copying the files to an internal drive.

The issue is this: whenever I try to open the plutonium app on a new computer, the updater takes a while downloading files. This makes me think that there are some important files for the launcher that are not on this drive. The fact that it redownloads it every time indicates that it's downloading these files to the internal drive, instead of onto the SSD as I intended. I'm wondering where these updates are going, so I can move them to the SSD and avoid the slow updates.

I don't even know if this is possible.

    Thanks

rabidavocado Plutoniums client files themselves are hosted in C:/Users/user/AppData/Local/Plutonium (or %localappdata%/plutonium) and need to be put onto your SSD and copied to a new system. Plutonium is not a portable application and also cannot be treated like one.
