Hey guys i got a question.

is it somehow possible to add the Appdata files and the launcher to the main game directory, so all plutonium related files stay in one folder? Something similar to the old days or IW4X. It would make the distribution of the game in a LAN Party environment alot easier and save some time.

    Thank you 🙂

not sure, but what I did was make a custom script to put it into the "correct place" and then put my server files like the rest of my other games in my folder servers.
I edited the launch script to launch in lan mode because there is no internet.
for the people that attend, they also use that custom script that put it into the correct place and I made a lan launcher to launch the game directly into lan mode

Should work with this method for LAN-Partys (https://forum.plutonium.pw/topic/33178/play-plutonium-offline-bo1-bo2-mw3-waw/2😞

        • Copy the Appdata/local/Plutonium folder to game directory
        • Change the given script to new paths
        • profit???

Imma test this later or tomorrow. If you can also level up in this scenario, then im good to go, since we want to start with level 1 and progress through the games on the party.

rvyASVP yes that works, just like I said.
I made this too but you don't need to make each file seperate, I made one file and it launches the game.
          github .com/JOJOVAV/cod-Lan-Launcher
what he said was to take the files from appdata and put them somewhere else but honestly it's a pain in the but to configure this and that. so just leave it default.

JVAV said in Standalone Gamefolder for Lan-Partys:

            github .com/JOJOVAV/cod-Lan-Launcher

So if i host a server locally, we can connect to the server and progress as usual in lan mode?

im pretty sure you can specify the game path when running in lan mode, workdir should be the plutonium directory that contains the bin folder
then you'd run it as bin\plutonium-bootstrapper-win32.exe t6mp "gamedir" -lan

aside from that plutonium.exe supports the -install-dir flag
