Managed to Successfully get T5 and T6 running even in a Crossover Bottle, however I noticed that I have a lot of mouse stuttering rendering Zombies a bit challenging to play.

Anyone got a quickfix for that?

Hey, I got bo1 running on my mac through Crossover. Having issues with mw3, it's crashing when I join a server. Any clues why might it crash right when I join a server?

I have made a Bottles backup that you can import (I have wayland + pipewire)

Tested on T4,T5, T6 and IW5 and it work like a charm

Thoxy How wonderful is it because it runs the servers in linux and that is a chaos of cpu consumption almost 90% only running a server

Thoxy I have been having trouble importing this. It seems like you linked the DLLS to your home directory and I don't seem to have the same versions.

When installing with Bottles you should use the soda 7.0.9 runner as any newer one fails to start the game. I have not tested any non soda runner and they may work.

for anyone trying this in in 2025, i got it working on arch (Linux 6.15.6-arch1-1) by installing bo2 multiplayer on steam, adding plutonium.exe as a non-steam game and running it through that with proton 9.0-4. everything works flawlessly tbh, including controller

why so many complex steps lol i dont even use wine and got it working simply using steam and built in addons. Why in the world would someone make it even more complex for no reason.

DatBomber420 props to creative members finding ways to get a non supported feature working... if you've found a better way then post it... otherwise your commentary doesn't help anyone.

put up or shut up 😄
