[ZM] WAW Weapons mod for bo1 maps v2.12.1

I’m wondering if there will be an option implemented to modify what weapons can appear in the game. So you can have a toggle where you can disable the Multiplayer weapons that weren’t in the box in the original WaW game, since adding more weapons lowers your odds of getting the guns you want because there are more probabilities in the box. Another would be to be able mix BO1 and WAW guns so everyone can keep still do their mustangs and sallies and Monkey Crossbows
Great work on the mod btw!playerlsaysr69 yea I think that would be a great feature considering there are people who would enjoy this mod more with certain weapon variations as I've been asked about that before. the thing is, I'm not that great at scripting so it would take me a lot of time and effort for me to figure out how to put something like that together. not that I'm against putting effort into my mods, but I'm not really up for that right now.

I have a balance suggestion I feel like the ptrs should get a buff in Mobility specifically when it's upgraded I like the flamethrower I feel like that would make the weapon more useful but I assume the mod is trying to be accurate as possible I still love this mod hope this mod gets another update soon

Richiem32 honestly I didn't even consider the running speed for the upgraded ptrs, and I wouldn't mind changing it as when it comes to accuracy I'm already off since I've buffed most of the weapons. I mostly wanna be accurate when it comes to the cosmetics. I may update it later today changing the ptrs running speed along with the fact that I wanna add the thundergun to five and the waffe to verruckt. I also ported the knife animations from waw last night and may include that too.

HomerJay42 The new update has a problem the textures on the weapons are broken the ptrs and most of the Pack-A-Punch guns have their textures missing may want to do a hot fix

Richiem32 yea I accidentally uploaded this mod earlier with missing textures. I fixed it and updated the link since then without saying anything and you might of just happened to download that version before I got to update the link
as of now I don't have any issues with the textures -

HomerJay42 honestly, i think five doesnt need a wonderweapon, just because thats kind of what made it unique and more challenging. though the flamethrower is fine. and waffe on verruckt was needed lmao

Brigeezy123 yea sorry, I've gotten like 1000 opinions about what weapons I should add or remove from this mod. I added the thundergun to five and the waffe to verruckt because of a suggestion I got when I first made this mod. I don't just blindly make changes to my mods based on suggestions I get but I thought it was a valid idea and I liked it. some people will like it, and some won't
however I still appreciate it when I do get feedback like this and I see what you mean by the thundergun making five too easy since it's notorious for it's difficulty and having no good wonder weapons -

u can add the teleporter and mainframe textures i made if u want also. and the black waffe vacuum tubes from my better waffe textures mod to resemble waw more.

Brigeezy123 I would, but since people use custom textures in bo1 and textures loaded through a mod override textures in the plutonium t5 images folder, I decided it would be better to only include textures essential to this mod for those who may wanna use their custom textures with this mod. I know you could get the iwd file for this mod and put custom textures in there but not everyone knows how to do that or has the software to open iwd files.
Also, because I actually prefer the reticle used for the waffe and thundergun in bo1 over the waw one so some might feel the same about the other textures

I think adding the Sten would be A interesting bonus weapon. Since it was supposed to be in World at War but was cut. Just a weapon suggestion It's in that one campaign mission in the game I think it's Project Nova. -

HomerJay42 The way I see it Is that you can't please everyone, especially people who are exclusively purists of World at War Weapons, May I suggest you Make a version of the mod that's exclusively waw official weapons for people want the purest experience with those weapons. Because then the people who like those weapons exclusively are happy and you can add your own twist with the version you want to do. You know how you did that custom map with the Ultimus crew? Do something like that.

Richiem32 I've already thought about that. but I don't think the difference between a few weapons is worth making a new version of the mod. what I wanna do is make a version of the mod that adds the mp weapons from waw to bo1 zombies along with extra features, and then have one that's more like the original waw zombies. at the moment I don't feel like porting a bunch of weapons from waw to bo1 as it's really time consuming so it will probably be a while until that sees the light of day, unless someone else does it before I do.

HomerJay42 So one thing that I noticed about the PPSH. Is that the view model is not exactly accurate. Specifically when you look at it from higher fov It's basically where the hand is on the trigger. In waw you can see the Hand on the trigger as well as holding the gun so it hides that. Missing part of the gun in the view model. I don't know if you wanna maybe try and port the World at War PPSH. View model at least. But it would make it more accurate.

HomerJay42 So I was thinking of an idea. Is there a way you can add the waffle as a box weapon In Call of the Dead. Instead of it only being Exclusive to doing the Easter egg. I think No one would be against it And if you are reaching asset limit, replace the human gun Since that doesn't really do anything in single player.

I wouldn't mind seeing the Thunder gun and waffle On Different Maps. So that a second wonder weapon could be Obtained by the second player. It Would allow the second player to do somethings.
