Use launcher with a controller only??

Is there anyway to use the launcher with only a controller? Or if some way the controller can control the pointer?
I imagine there is something within Steam to do with controller support but I have no idea.
Just wondering if anyone has managed to integrate this launcher in a console like set up?

You can launch individual games through batch scripts and load those through steam or something like playnite. Or if you just want to control the mouse get a DS4 and use the trackpad.
