Problem with proton/wine containers

I'm currently running Plutonium through Steam, and all games open normally. But whenever I change any graphics settings or keybinds in the game, after a while, when I try to open the game again, it simply won't open anymore. After that, I end up having to create a new container, and only then does the game open again, but after that, everything happens again.
This happens in all the games I play; so far it's happening with Waw, Bo1, and Bo2. Both in MP and ZM modes.
Doing this every time ends up filling my PC's memory more and more, and besides that, it forces me to manually put my mods back into their proper folders.

- In Fedora Linux (Gnome)
