[T6] ZM Bots
-
AbsentGail Yes, I typed it exactly like that: "set zm_bots #".
-
Hey is there no way to custom the bots health anymore?
HyperFireXD You can always grab the uncompiled folder and rename it as "zm_bots"; then, inside of it, create the folders "scripts/zm", move both files inside the "zm" folder. There you can now edit the files as you want.
-
New update:
-
Bots will now be able to get a shield if the player has it.
-
The maps "Mob of the Dead" and "Origins" will now behave as if there's only one player. (This means you'll be able to get all the craftable pieces on "Mob of the Dead", or activate the generators on "Origins" without needing assistance).
Minor tweaks:
-
Removed the condition to input a console command to set the amount of bots (More details on the main post).
-
The PaP functionality has been reworked, allowing bots to travel to the machine and even get their current weapon skin and attachments. (I hope this fix makes the bots' weapons display correctly, without any bugs).
-
Bots will now buy perks within a smaller radius, instead of having a radius covering the entire map to reach them.

this mod keeps getting better and better, thanks mate.

@Zoxi. You're supposed to move the folder "zm_bots" to the "mods" one. Move the mod folder, the "zm_bots" one, here "C:\Users\me\AppData\Local\Plutonium\storage\t6\mods". Also, you don't need to input the command in the console anymore, they will spawn in-game already.
-
Unfortunately the mod doesn't work for me. Done exactly how it says. Pasted the "zm_bots" folder inside the "mods" folder inside the t6 folder inside the plutonium directory.
Loaded up a Transit game and a Survival game, neither loaded any bots

MetalZeroOne2346 I downloaded the mod and tested to be sure, and it works fine. Are you sure that you went to "custom games" and not to "solo play"? Also check if you have the party closed in the lobby before you start a game.
-
Yes, I even changed the max party limit to 8 and even then, nothing. Just tried the original mod and it's working normally. But this one is not. Very strange.
Should the party be open or closed?

MetalZeroOne2346 It should be open; after all, bots are clients.
Edit: Okay, i tested it myself even with the party closed and they even spawn that way; i don't know what's going on.

RlKk01 The problem was I didn't literally LOAD the mod on the mod menu.
I'm used to play with the old version which was installed on the scripts folder, thus not needing to be activated.
Just activated the mod and it worked. Sorry for the confusion and thanks for the quick responses!

MetalZeroOne2346 Oh thank lord! For a moment there, i thought i'd messed it up somehow.

I want to give credit to GerardS0406 for being the first to create this mod and for establishing its foundations; to BySc for continuing Gerard’s work and adding some useful functions that I took, tested, and modified myself; and finally to techboy04gaming, whose wander function I borrowed and implemented into the mod.
The link:
https://github.com/RlKk01/ZM-Bots-for-COD-BO2-Zombies-PlutoniumTo install this mod, press «Win + R» and paste the following path: «%localappdata%\Plutonium\storage\t6», then press Enter.
Then, move the "zm_bots" folder to the "mods" folder; if you don't have the "mods" folder, just create it.
If you want to play with more than 3 bots, just increase the party size in the custom game lobby; with 7 bots being the maximum allowed.
Also, if you want to play with this mod along with another one, e.g., a mod that adds custom weapons, you just need to drag the file zmbots.iwd inside the "zm_bots" folder and drag it to the other mod folder.
If anyone wants to improve this mod, feel free to try, it’s completely open source.
