Can I start a game directly, skipping the game selection screen?

Hello,

I only play Black Ops using plutonium, so it's a bit annoying always having to navigate to it and then pressing play.

I could live with Plutonium remembering the last selected game and showing it on start up, but if there's a command line option or something similar, that would launch Black Ops directly after plutonium opened, that would be ideal.

Also for some reason a terminal window opens as well. Useful for debugging, but annoying when everything works and I want to alt-tab to something else.

I tried moving it to another (virtual) desktop, but apparently it is the thing that captures the mouse and I couldn't look around in game, unless the terminal window was on the same desktop. But that's a different issue.

The terminal window is Plutonium, if you close it it closes everything
If it's that much of a problem for you find an app that allows hiding an opened window, can't help you on that

Resxt I'm not sure where to put that. Is that how Windows shortcuts look like?

I'm on Linux so this wouldn't work for me.

Edit: I saw that it's connected to the "launcher protocol" the plutonium launcher now supports. No idea what that means, though. And it's from a pretty old looking changelog.

Beware that this can make you fall behind on updates. It’s advised to always run the updater/installer before starting the game.

Hadi77KSA Will I notice when I'm too far behind? Or will I get a temporary ban over it?

And is this project open source? I might want to contribute to it.

@striped_shirt You won't be able to join a server if it's on a newer version than you. And sometimes I run into issues where my shortcuts won't launch and I have manually update to launch. Haven't gotten any bans for it.

@striped_shirt you’ll receive an error telling you you’re behind on updates upon attempting to join a server running a more recent version than you, and you could face issues having friends join you for private matches if you’re not on the same versions. Additionally, the launcher may show an error thus prevent you from logging in and staying logged in if you’re not on the latest version. Also, mods can become incompatible due to changes that may get introduced to the client (e.g. mods becoming incompatible with older versions due to making use of features added to newer versions).
