BO1 texture mods work online??

for whatever reason i cant find an answer to this anywhere.

can you use texture mods online, on unmodded public servers, specifically in zombies?
can this be done with animated textures?

is there a certain way to go about installing them because i have yet to find any texture mods that work without loading them from the "mods" menu (which doesnt work on servers)
--editing to add, i add .ff files to "zone", .iwi and .iwd files to "images", still nothing working
using directory
C:\Users\me\AppData\Local\Plutonium\storage\t5\images

GhostRider01250 the updated version is posted as a mod, to go in the mod folder. immediately unloads upon joining a server

i tried to download the old version from an old download link in the replies, nothing worked and installation was unclear probably outdated

just went to a match it worked for me with this one again have not tried the new one yet
