Banned for Unknown Reason- Using Plutonium on CachyOS with Bottles (Wine Prefix Handler)

Not sure why I was banned. Logged in after 3 months or so of not playing and then i logged out, then relogged and I got the message I was banned:

Never modded or anything. Been playing on this account for 4-5 years or more at this point. Long time supporter of the project.

you triggered the anit-cheat (which was 7 days) and then you tried another account (which is seen as ban evading) and it added 7 more days. Only think you can do is wait it out. Next ban is permanent so be careful about triggering the anti-cheat again.

DirkRockface How did I trigger an anti-cheat? I don't mod the installations whatsoever so the only thing that makes sense would be the virtualization of the Bottles program that I used to run the plutonium executable through CachyOS (arch linux derivative).
Is this an issue with a false-positive due to sensitivity of the anti-cheat, or is it something else?
I think it's pretty unfair to be banned by an automatic anti-cheat when i wasn't actually cheating in any way, shape, or form.
I have used the Lutris compatibility layer to play this game on linux for literal years. I'm not sure what changed

kDex False positive. Pluto doesnt co-op with linux distros and other OSes.

I don't know what could have triggered the anti-cheat. I played back in April using Heroic, and at the time I was using Proton-GE-Proton10-34. I played for a whole month without any issues.I would recommend just installing Arch and using a custom kernel to avoid any false positives.

Is there any way to appeal the ban to staff? They seem to support the open source initiatives fairly well. I think they might grant it given I have absolutely zero history of cheating/modding.
anyone know of a pathway forward? Really not looking forward to waiting two weeks to play on the servers again.
Thank you all for the input.

Wait until you get a proper answer from a dev, or your ban may be extended. If you don't want to end up with a 10+ year ban, I'd suggest waiting.
