            Hello everyone,

I'm currently developing an open-source Black Ops II Emblem Editor with the goal of recreating and expanding the original BO2 emblem creation experience outside the game.

Like many players, I spent countless hours creating and collecting emblems back in the BO2 days. This project started as a way to preserve that creativity while introducing modern tools that were never available in the original editor.

            Current Features

            • Layer-based Black Ops II emblem editor
            • Black Ops II shape library
            • Save and load emblem projects
            • Import and export support
            • AI-powered emblem generation from text prompts
            • AI prompt guides and documentation available in the project's README
            • Active development with frequent updates

The AI generation feature is already functional. You can describe the emblem you want, and the application generates a complete layer-by-layer blueprint designed for the Black Ops II emblem system.

            Planned Features

            • Image-to-emblem conversion
            • Automatic optimization for the 32-layer limit
            • Community emblem sharing
            • Improved layer management
            • Additional editing tools
            • Expanded support for BO2 shapes and assets
            • Better compatibility with existing emblem formats
            • Faster editing workflow than the original in-game editor

            Why This Project?

Black Ops II introduced one of the most memorable emblem editors in the Call of Duty series.

Over the years, many impressive community creations have been lost, and there has never been a modern tool focused on preserving and improving that creative experience.

My goal is to make emblem creation easier, faster, and more accessible while remaining faithful to the original editor and its limitations.

            Open Source

The project is completely open source, and contributions, suggestions, bug reports, and feature requests are welcome.

            GitHub repository:
            github . com / ViniciusNoetzold / bo2-.emblem-editor
            (remove the spaces)

The repository includes documentation explaining how the AI emblem generation system works and how to use it.

            Feedback

I would really appreciate feedback from the Plutonium community.

What features would you like to see?
What aspects of the original BO2 emblem editor do you think should be preserved?
Would compatibility with Plutonium's emblem system be something the community would find useful?

Thank you for taking the time to read this. I hope this project can help preserve one of the most unique customization features ever introduced in Black Ops II.!

            Some exemples:

NoobPlayer47002 is it possible to just put an image inside of the editor and then put it into your players folder just a solid image as an emblem file

NoobPlayer47002 also i think you should have this emblem editor as a downloadable executable so we can edit our emblems and let's say images if possible in the emblem editor locally

mr.kennutbuster A more optimized version with an .exe file will be released soon; I’m a bit short on time right now, but I plan to work more on the project.

As for the feature to add images, I don't think it's possible, but I do have plans to turn images into Black Ops 2 emblems—specifically, having the AI convert photos into emblems by using the game's own mechanics to recreate them.

i'm impressed with the concept and that something like this is being put into production, the use of generative ai though is a huge bummer.
