Everyone complains about campers until they run into one that actually knows what they're doing.

Camping isn't just sitting in a random corner waiting for free kills. If you're doing it properly, you're turning one room into a fortress.

    Claymore watching one entrance.
    Trophy System keeping explosives out.
Guardian slowing anyone who gets too confident.
Sentry Gun covering the angle you can't.

    Everything has a job.

The funny part is people will die, sprint straight back to the same room, die again, then call you bad. At some point you've got to ask who's making the worse decision.

Anyone can run around with an MSMC for ten minutes. It takes patience to hold down an area, predict where people are coming from, and make them play your game instead of theirs.

    People call it camping.

    I call it map control.

Also using shield would be a such valuable asset too itll give cover for some bad places of maps that dont have much to protect you

And it only takes 1 slot😁

When your reaction time is higher than 250 ms, camping is the only way to play.
But even then, it is easy to counter because BO2 has ways to deal with most of the things you are doing.

Claymores and Trophy Systems can be hacked. Also, the Guardian and Sentry Gun can be destroyed without even shooting them.
And if you have 2 to 4 people using C4, you will eventually die at some point.

ChosenUndead You confirm Camp point. It is a gameplay like any other useful if it is done with some brain but that can be countered ... so there is no need for some to yell "Camper" or "Noob". Camp conclusion is from my point of view very true : " I call it map control "

Interesting way to contradict yourself with two statements.

              1. "So there is no need for someone to yell 'Camper' or 'Noob'."

It seems that you don't agree with those words. More likely, it seems that you're only against them when they're used against you in a negative way.

              1. "If it is done with some brain."

What are you implying here? What does it mean to "have some brain"?
It's just a game. You can play however you want, but that doesn't change the fact that less-skilled players tend to camp.
That's because their reaction time, mouse control, and game sense are too low to compete against a faster player.

Think about it: if you're rushing and want to shoot, there is a delay between the running animation and the shooting animation. So, in order to shoot, you need to react even before you can actually see the enemy. That's why pre-aiming common spots is important.

                I don't see the contradiction.

                Regarding point 1:
Admittedly, I don't like being called a "noob," even though I'm well aware that I'm terrible at the game.
That said, I wouldn't disparage or insult other players—even those who are worse than me, if that's even possible.
Technically, I never use the chat because I'm too busy trying to survive.
And as you said, it's just a game; we're supposed to be here to have fun, not to rage or hurl insults.

                Regarding point 2:
                I think there's been a misunderstanding.
                I have nothing against campers.
If they're beginners, they won't last long staying in the same spot and they will learn.
If they're experienced players who know the maps and use defensive tactics for their position, then it's just smart map usage.
On the other hand, I have far less respect for people who repeatedly fall for a Claymore in the same spot and then complain about campers.
Everyone should be free to play their own way without it turning into a big drama.

You are absolutely right about the last paragraph.

Pushing yourself to your limits would be better than just camping with an LMG + claymores + Trophy System. Aggressive players are already prepared for the action, so you wouldn't have much of a chance against them.

Everyone should have fun playing and play at their own pace, but at the same time, camping is a behavior that isn't viewed positively by any community. In fact, you can search for any gameplay from "WingsofRedemption", and the reaction would be the same.

And of course, being toxic is something I don't condone. Being good or bad at any game or activity doesn't entitle you to behave in a toxic way.

                    Lol !

                    I don't camp.

                    Survival is mobility.

I was just playing devil's advocate.

I’m more the type to move slowly, haunt the shadows, and embrace players with my knives—which are always less rotten than my aim.

And I'm only talking about T6, because I have no shame in playing T5, which lends itself better to a stealthy playstyle.

Nice. I'm more of the aggressive type, and sometimes even hyper-aggressive. Personally, I find it much more rewarding to go full rush against everything.
