zombie specific damage calculations (wonder weapons)

So I'm new to this whole "script" and "GSC" thing, so i was wondering if there is an explanation as to why certain wonder weapons can kill zombies at any round, but boss zombies are completely unaffected. is there a specific calculation done for boss zombies? if so how can it be changed?
