It just says "This app can't run on your PC, check with the software publisher."

gunship_stan try re-downloading piry. It could also be your antivirus, try disabling that (or exclude the bo2 folder from scanning).

so, i re-downloaded it and that didn't work. i only use windows defender so i don't think that's the issue.

gunship_stan why would it not be an issue? defender is antivirus software and is known to block the bootstrapper and piry.
Also which version of windows are you on?

gunship_stan you don't know which version of windows you're on? Can you post a screenshot of your game folder?

gunship_stan yea so as you can see it's 0KB, so either the download is failing because chrome is blocking it or your antivirus is. As i said, exclude the bo2 folder from scanning in defender, if you don't know how to exclude folders google it.
For chrome go to settings -> security and turn off safe browsing.

gunship_stan firefox also has a feature like that. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1058757#:~:text=it affects downloads.-,You can disable the Safe Browsing feature temporarily to get,Block reported attack sites" checkbox.

WeirdoBatman Is it blocking the download and states it as a "Harmful App"? If yes, open the downloads tab and hit "Keep Anyway".
