I cannot connect nor see my server on the t6zm server list, 4976-4977 have been port forwarded, i tried using the "connect IP" console command using both internal and external IPv4 addresses with the port included and excluded, my friends can connect and view my server on the server list, and this only effects zm as i can connect, view, and use the "connect IP" command when switched to an mp server.
On an additional note, i am trying to connect to the hosted server using a separate pc from the one hosting.

Stratos if other ppl can see it and connect to it nothing is wrong. You not being able to see your own server just means your router doesn't support (or has disabled) wan loopback. You should definately be able to connect to it via the console using the lan ip of the pc that's hosting the server.

Dss0 I can connect using the PCs local IP when I start the server as an mp server but not zm, would this still be an issue with wan loopback?

Stratos no. make sure that server is running on port 4977 or whatever the next free port is (prolly 4978 if you also have a mp server running?) 4976 is reserved for the client so you shouldn't be using that.

Dss0 I tried using 4777 strictly, then 4777-4778, and then 4778 strictly with no change. Friends can still on all ports, but I cannot.

Stratos but there's nothing wrong with the server setup as other people can connect, there is smth wrong with the connection between your primary pc and that server pc on your lan. what if you just move the server to your primary pc?

I'll try that, but before I do, I should mention that with all the connection processes possible, I can connect to my own server, so long that it is running as an mp(multiplayer pvp) server

Stratos did you make a firewall rule on your server pc? Maybe you only allowed the connection for public networks by accident?

Dss0 I am quite sure as I had both checkboxes ticked on the windows firewall pop-up when I first launched the server.

So after messing around with it, somehow it finally allowed me to connect, I basically just installed the server-client on my pc but ran the server on my dedicated server and I can connect somehow. TL;DR it works!
