DLC installation issues
-
LockeLowkeyLoki its possible that the files/folders were misplaced. When you downloaded the DLC, did you just drag and drop the zone and main folders into where your MW3 folder is? I know you said you did in your initial post but its still possible it was placed incorrectly. The download did come with a readme if you got it from us.

brostosjoined I installed the game from Steam via the MW3 dedicated server, and the DLC from qbittorrent.
-
brostosjoined This is unhelpful. They might've placed the folders incorrectly. Basing off of size does nothing.
-
homura I moved the files in the main/zone folders the the main/zone counterparts in MW3. Upon double checking the readme this seems to be a mistake. I'm trying again with a fresh installation of both the base game and the dlc. Forgive me for what is likely a stupid question, but once the base game ins installed, am I supposed to extract the main and zone folders to their main and zone counterparts, or just the MW3 folder?
-
LockeLowkeyLoki You would take the main and zone files (from the DLC download) and put them directly into the root game folder.
-
brostosjoined No, just the base game and the dlc. It might be worth noting that a few dlc maps came with the base installation (Rust, Terminal, Erosion, and Aground) that worked fine though.
-
Chase I tried doing that and for some reason it doesn't work. There's an MD5 file in the torrent, should I include that as well? (And if so where?)
-
LockeLowkeyLoki no, you simply move the main and zone folders to your mw3 game folder. However it probably doesn't work with other languages besides english so make sure your game is in english.

Dss0 Thank you! I figured out how to do this (as my computer was moving the files in a weird way), but it works now and the maps are all playable!

LockeLowkeyLoki i have the same problem and tried everything still nothing works
