Have I only been playing original zombies?

I and my friends have recently been playing a lot of zombies recently. I set the difficulty to 0 for easy but I guess I never removed the //. If you don't remove the // in the difficulty part will it just automatically be set to original difficulty? It felt like we were playing easy but I guess that might not be the case (I've played since bo2 originally came out so I'm really curious about this) Thank you in advance.

// turns the line into a comment, which means the server won't "read" it and therefore not apply it. So yes, for the whole time the // has been there, you've been playing on Original difficulty.
