Failed to check for updates

Since yesterday, I get this error with the Plutonium launcher.

The launcher is then running in LAN Mode.

I tried different solutions like deleting plutonium.exe and plutonium.new and re-downloading the launcher as explained on this topic but it didn't work.

Can you help me?

Marty59 but if you re-download the launcher and use that new one to launch the game this error can't be occuring as the launcher is already the latest version so it doesn't need to update itself..

Ostegoth that's simply not possible. If you delete all the launcher .exe's you have and re-download it from here: https://cdn.plutonium.pw/updater/plutonium.exe it's not possible for you to get that error as that launcher .exe is already the latest version.

-Restart your PC.
-Make sure T6 torrent is not seeding
-Delete plutonium.exe and plutonium.new.exe
-Redownload a clean copy of the launcher https://cdn.plutonium.pw/updater/plutonium.exe

Dss0 im also having the same problem and i tried deleting it and then re downloading it and it still did not work also its not letting me delete plutonium.new.exe then it shows this

@HI-guys this is most likely caused by your antivirus https://forum.plutonium.pw/topic/8546/why-is-my-antivirus-saying-plutonium-is-a-virus-solution
Simply restart your pc if it doesn't let you delete it.

Dss0 There was a bug with the new launcher file I downloaded. Now everything works perfectly.

H3X1C why does it take a long time to seed ?

Xyrogs seeding means it's done and now uploading to other people, that's how torrents work. You can stop it as soon as it says seeding or remove it from the torrent client.
