iBrave play on a server closer to you or get better internet

Set com_maxfps to something your hardware can put out at all times, but make it a base of 2 and less than 250 fps. Then set cl_maxpackets to half of your com_maxfps value, so for example com_maxfps 200 and cl_maxpackets 100.

iBrave he pretty much already gave them to you and explained them pretty well. all you have to do is copy the commands, place in your own values, and drop them into the in game CLI (accessed by pressing the tilde key ~ usually found above the tab key on your keyboard)

iBrave it can but your high ping is most likely just caused by you living far away from servers.

com_maxfps

to something your pc can handle, then set

cl_maxpackets 

to half the value of com_maxfps.
