My friend and I are trying to play on a LAN server, and we cannot. Every time he tries to join with the "connect [my ip]" command in the console, it does nothing.

If it helps, we're using RadminVPN, which is basically Hamachi but more stable.

While I cannot recommend it, I can say RAdmin works on my network, although it may be finicky for others. Plutonium only recommends port forwarding/UPNP for connecting to friends.

Chase Ah, that's unfortunate. Port forwarding is a pain in the ass for me and UPNP doesn't work. My friend knows how to port forward, so I'll see if he's up for it tomorrow. Thanks for the quick reply!

cheezkid26 Cool deal, for reference your friend should port forward 28960 and if you plan to run mods both of you need to have the mod installed before connecting. 🙂
